May 3rd Contra Dance

6 pm - 9:30 pm @
Rockford Grange
featuring the
Sappy Fir Cones
and
caller Sue Baker.

All ages and experience levels welcome. The first few minutes around 7 will help you learn what contra dancing is all about. No partner, no problem! We’ll have plenty of folks for you to dance with. Entry is $15 (purchase in advance or pay at the door) and anyone 16 and under is welcome, free of charge!

From 6-7, we’ll gather to honor the Spring season, and from 7-9:30, Sue Baker and the Sappy Fir Cones will have you whirlin’-and-a-twirlin’ with their exceptional musicianship. This event is not to be missed.

Refreshments and treats will be available for sale downstairs in support of the Rockford Grange.

If you’re available to volunteer, please contact info@rockfordgrange.net

Come one, come all to dance your socks off this May Day (Saturday, May 3rd) at the Rockford Grange with full flowers a-blooming. We’re bringing in the amazing Sappy Fir Cones of Trout Lake with caller Sue Baker to lead you in the most fun you’re likely to find this side of the Big River. Enjoy a delicious dinner from the La Gula Food Truck that will be parked in our lot. If you’ve never had Gricelda’s burritos, you’ll soon learn what you’ve been missing and what the town of Carson has been keeping secret.
